Braun Industries is in Atlanta, Georgia this week for the IAFC’s Fire-Rescue International 2015. Braun representatives and dealers will be in Booth #2123 on Friday (August 28^th) and Saturday (August 29^th) during open exhibit hall hours. Attendees should stop by to take a peak at 2 customer ambulances on display, a 2014 Chief XL from St. John’s Fire/Rescue and a 2015 Super Chief from Temple Terrace Fire Department.

Fire-Rescue International has some very exciting events planned for the 2015 conference and expo. One such event is the VIP Shakers Session. Braun Ambulances will be sponsoring this event, which is targeted to the “movers and shakers” in the fire and emergency management industries.  The think-tank style session will be facilitated by Mary Beth Michos, Retired Fire Chief of Prince William County, VA, and former Deputy Executive Director of the IAFC. The Shakers Session will address high level strategic concerns facing departments and communities as well as some of the “wicked issues” that IAFC’s CEO/Executive Director, Mark Light, has been highlighting in recent years.

The VIP Shakers Session will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm today, with the a reception following immediately after. It will take place in A406/407, with the reception in room A404. The session is by invite only, approximately 75 representatives from over 40 departments will be joining the session. Chad Brown, Eric Wilcox, and Jarret Hammons will be attending from Braun Industries direct; they look forward to listening in on the discussion to get unfiltered, direct feedback to share with the rest of the Braun management team.

Another anticipated gathering at the conference will be a customer appreciation event hosted by Ten-8 Fire Equipment. Ten-8 Fire Equipment is our local Braun ambulance dealer for Florida and Georgia. With FRI 2015 being hosted in their “backyard”, the dealership will have their own booth at the expo in space #33. There, they will be displaying fire equipment from a variety of manufacturers. This year, the dealership is also celebrating their 30^th anniversary. As part of the celebration, they will be hosting a fun, customer appreciation event at FRI 2015.
