For many of our customers, a regional dealer is their first point of contact with Braun. Working with our dealer partners, we ensure our customers’ needs are met at a local level for new ambulance sales and service. Throughout our 45 years in business, we’ve established an incredible network that helps us serve customers nationwide. We wanted to take some time to highlight them one by one; today we’re kicking things off with Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus.

Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus is our new ambulance dealer for North Carolina and South Carolina. Headquartered in Roebuck, SC, they are also a Braun Authorized Service Center with 3 service locations. Committed to delivering the most reliable and dependable emergency apparatus, backed by unmatched customer service, Spartan Apparatus is poised to serve you.

Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus was established in 1973. When they began selling fire apparatus for Pierce in South Carolina, there were only 3 Pierce units in service. Today, there are more than 700! Through the years, Spartan Apparatus has experienced steady growth and is recognized for their stability within the industry.

The Braun ambulance lineup is a perfect fit for Spartan’s existing customer base or new departments seeking a high quality, custom ambulance. Today, the Chief XL model on a Type III platform is a popular choice in the region. It’s a larger model, providing the optimum in room, storage, and comfort, and delivering one of the highest usable payloads in the industry. However, the dealership is predicting a shift in trend soon. The Carolinas’ Fire and EMS service is all about tradition, with history often repeating itself as the old circles back in as new. They anticipate more departments purchasing Type I units, as many replaced their fleets with Type IIIs years back.

When asked, “What’s one innovation or design feature you recommend on a Braun ambulance and why?” Robby Fore, President of Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus answered: “Our MasterTech IV™ Electrical System! Here is one of many reasons… If one of our zones fail, our Medics can still work. The work lights in the other areas work along with warning lights. I never want the thought of knowing that because of an electrical system failure a small kid or someone's love one couldn't be saved because the ambulance went out of service in transport!” We completely agree, Robby!

If you’re located in North or South Carolina and are interested in purchasing a new Braun ambulance, we encourage you to reach out to Spartan Fire and Emergency Apparatus. They have two dedicated sales representatives eager to earn your business. John Love covers the state of South Carolina and has over 10 of experience selling emergency vehicles and equipment. Chad Holland represents customers in North Carolina and has over 24 years of experience in Fire/EMS and 8 in Law Enforcement. Call Toll Free 866-582-2376 to get in touch with either of them, or complete this quick form and receive a follow up within 2 business days at the latest!
