Braun Ambulances Expands Service Department

December 13, 2014

In late summer, we purchased an additional facility to serve as our new Service Department. The 49,500 square foot building has given us much needed room for service operations, and opened up vital product space in our main manufacturing facility. This expansion has also allowed us to offer factory direct remounts and ambulance refurbishments, an exciting new service from Braun Industries. To keep up with the increased customer demand and new offerings, we have focused on growing our Service Department team.

Braun Industries Service Manager, Jeff Holtzclaw, has the following to say about the recent expansion as it relates to staff development.

Part of our recent growth and expansion of our remount/refurb capabilities has been to include the addition of highly qualified personnel to complement the existing team. The new members have specialties in Paint/Body, Welding, Fabrication, and Electrical, and our workload has grown sufficiently to support these additions. We have been very fortunate to be able to hire people who already have experience in and knowledge of the ambulance industry.

The new service department team members include:

Jim Lee – Prior to starting at Braun direct, Jim worked with a Braun dealership on the service side of the business. At Braun, he is a Service Specialist, focused on assisting dealers and customers that are having issues with their vehicles.

Cory Anderson – Cory has many years of experience in the ambulance industry as a previous employee of Life Star Rescue - a now defunct dealership. Cory is a Service Technician at Braun, working on the service production floor.

Adam Hoaglin – Adam also joins the Braun team from Life Star Rescue. He is experienced in remounts and fabrication, lending his expertise to our Remount services.

Jordan Miller – Many of our Braun employees enjoy a long tenure with the company. Jordan transferred from the Braun weld shop, and is a certified welder, as well as experienced paint and body man.

BJ Cotterman – BJ is also an internal transfer. He recently moved from the weld department to our Service Department, and is a certified welder and experienced fabricator.

Penny Richardson – Penny may be one of our most well-known old/new additions to the Service Department. Previously working with customers direct through our Sales Department, Penny has transitioned to the position of Remount Specialist. Prior to working at Braun, she spent many years at Life Star Rescue where she was heavily involved in the remount process. Her past experience at Life Star Rescue and Braun made her a natural choice for this new position and we are pleased to have her there.

We are very excited about all of the Service Department new hires. Our main goal in expanding and hiring is always to better serve our dealers and customers. We have been overwhelmed by the response to our factory direct remount and refurbishment services, and are looking forward to growing even more in the future.
