Each Fall, representatives from Braun Industries and our dealer network join together for our Annual Sales Meeting. The two day event covers educational topics on changes to the industry, updates on our ambulance models, details on our internal processes and how we can make improvements, and more. We also take time to celebrate the achievements of our dealers and their sales representatives during an Awards Ceremony. This year, the meeting was held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center in Fort Wayne, IN on October 13th and 14th.
Day One of the sales meeting included a Model Year 2015 Sales Report, which highlighted a record number of dealerships achieving their sales goals and nine new inductees joining the President’s Club. Region 1 Sales Manager, Eric Wilcox, presented a customer sales story on Back Mountain Regional. President and Owner of Braun Industries, Kim Braun, gave a Presidential Address, covering an industry overview and state of the company. She focused heavily on Braun’s investment in growing our workforce and improving quality systems to reduce production time and enhance the customer experience. Additional sessions throughout the day included a Warranty & Service Report, Region 2 Sales Success Story, and an Operations Report.
A highpoint of Day One was the unveiling of the new Express Plus ambulance model. The Express Plus will be available on a F350 4x2, F450 4x4, and R4500. The 150” module has 72” of headroom and is fully customizable. While this was the first time dealers got to see a finished model in person, there have already been nine Express Plus orders since July 1st! We are excited to see the demo hit the road, so customers can get a first look as well. Click here for more information on the Express Plus model.
The closing of the first day was marked with a Tie Cutting Ceremony. This honors sales representatives that sold their first Braun ambulance this year. Those honored were:
- Jim Renner
- Dennis Waters
- David Bartley
- Ryan Quahliero
- Justin Jarvis
- Ron Gilbert
- Jon Englhardt
We also had a Vendor Reception, which allowed dealers the opportunity to speak with various companies in our supply chain and learn more about their products and services.
Stay tuned for a wrap-up of Day Two of the Annual Sales Meeting!
