Each year, the Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce honors Chamber members who have undergone an addition, expansion, or other major renovation during the previous year at their annual ceremony. Last month, Kim Braun accepted the Chamber’s Golden Shovel Award at the 97th annual Chamber dinner and award ceremony.

In 2018, Braun Ambulances invested over $600,000 in upgrades to support overall company growth. These upgrades included plant and outside expansion to facilitate the addition of a new production line, parking lot upgrades, and new equipment. These upgrades have also created 46 new full-time positions at Braun Ambulances! We have added 25 full-time jobs for the new production line, as well as 21 full-time employees to support overall growth. As we continue to grow, we will maintain our commitment to quality, to our customers, and to Van Wert.
