At Braun Industries, we're always looking for new talent to join our family. That's why we are excited to welcome Julie Overholt to our staff. Julie has been hired for Regional Sales Support.

Prior to joining Braun Industries, Julie worked for a Braun ambulance dealer for over 5 years. Her position there was very similar to the position she has been hired for with us. In her previous job, she was able to experience first-hand the importance of communication between Braun, the Regional Sales Manager, the dealer, and the end customer. At Braun, she sees how this is critical all the way down to the manufacturing floor and is looking forward to enhancing those communications in any way she can.

Julie's educational background is in MicroComputers/Business with a major in Accounting. She is also certified in Photoshop and Desktop publishing. Outside of the office, she is very active. She serves on the board of North West Central Youth for Christ and she is an overseer at Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert, Ohio.

Working in Regional Sales Support, Julie is responsible for creating unique and innovative ads and marketing materials to increase exposure for Braun ambulances and spread the message that they are truly "Built for Life". It is the quality and integrity of the Braun ambulance brand and the family that takes pride in and stands behind their work that Julie wants to positively reflect in her messages. She also helps plan trade shows and other events. Additionally, she facilitates communications between Braun and the Regional Sales Managers.

In her new position, Julie is most looking forward to spending time on marketing and graphic design. Specifically, she enjoys assisting with the company's social media efforts by to Facebook and Twitter. Julie has the following to say about working at Braun ambulances: "I enjoy working at Braun because I have a great respect for the Braun family and the quality product produced. It makes it easy to market a product I can trust if my family member ever needed to ride in an ambulance."

In 2006, Julie became critically ill after surgical complications and had to be transported 55 miles in an ambulance. Operated by Brickner Ambulance Service, Julie's journey was in a Braun Express ambulance. "When you are lying on the cot in pain, you can take comfort in the smooth ride of the Braun ambulance. I worked for the dealer that delivered that very ambulance I rode in two weeks prior to my need for it," Julie says.

We are happy to have Julie join the Braun family and pleased to know our product made a personal impact on her in the past. We look forward to her work with us and are excited to see her contributions to strengthening the Braun ambulance brand!
