When you're in the business of saving lives, what you don't know can prove to be fatal. This is especially true in the Emergency Medical Services industry. Serving as an integral bridge between potential patients and hospitals, EMS professionals (emergency medical responders, technicians and paramedics) provide immediate mobile medical treatment and transport to those suffering life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Their efforts and expertise both en route and upon arrival are essential for reducing unnecessary death, disability and discomfort to patients, the public and themselves.
With so many lives depending on EMS professionals, one has to wonder where EMS professionals can turn for support. One of the premiere places is the Fire Department Instructors Conference (FDIC), an annual conference and exhibit dedicated to fire and emergency services training. From hands-on-training (H.O.T.) evolutions and workshops, industry leading classroom instruction, challenges and competitions to exciting vendor exhibits, entertainment, networking, camaraderie and special award and remembrance ceremonies, FDIC has proven to be a vital lifeline for the fire and EMS industry since 1928. Given its continued growth in innovative lifesaving tools, techniques and education, it should come as no surprise that this year's conference, FDIC International 2015, is expected to attract more than 35,000 attendees!
Braun Industries has been attending FDIC since 1979. Representatives from Braun corporate and our dealerships will be at this year’s show, ready to satisfy curiosities and exceed expectations! We will also have several of our emergency vehicles on display in Braun Booth #3057 and GM Booth #3920.
FDIC 2015 will be held April 20-25, 2015 at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium. This year it will feature more than 900 exhibitors, 500 industry leading speakers and instructors, 150 classroom sessions, and 60 hands-on-training courses and workshops. There will also be exciting entertainment, live demonstrations, book signings, special award and remembrance ceremonies, and priceless networking opportunities.
Exhibit hours will be as follows:
- Thursday, April 23: 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
- Friday, April 24: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Saturday, April 25: 9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Make sure to stop by Booth #3057 if you are attending. We’d love to see you there!
