The new A & E reality series, Nightwatch, has served as an eye-opener for many on what it really means to be a first responder. The behind-the-scenes footage is real and gritty. It highlights just how amazing EMTs and paramedics are, and the unique challenges they face day in and day out.
We have been inspired by Nightwatch to start our own blog “series” with stories from real first responders. If you have a passion for your profession and a talent for writing… we want you! We are currently seeking guest bloggers to apply.
To be considered, please send us a blog post and additional information about yourself using the guidelines below.
About You:
- Send us your full name, email address, phone number, job title, and department name with your submission.
- Attach a recent photo.
- Include a three to five sentence biographical statement related to your EMS background, training, and current position.
- Supply us your blog, website, or social media profiles – if available.
Blog Criteria:
- The topic must be relevant to EMS professionals. We are seeking personal stories about your experiences in the field, which also include an educational twist. Ask yourself:
- “Does this post contain information that people will find valuable?”
- “Is it entertaining to read?”
- “Will people want to hear more from me?”
- The content should be engaging. Finish with a call to action, encourage reader feedback through the comments, or include links to additional resources.
- The post should be 300-500 words.
- Content must be original to you and unpublished. Once accepted and published, the same content may not be republished anywhere else on the web.
- We would prefer there to be mention of Braun ambulances in the piece, but this is not a requirement.
Where To Apply:
Please submit all of the materials above to social@braunambulances.com. In the subject line, please include “Guest Blog Post Submission from {Your Name}.” Each post will be reviewed in detail. We will follow up with you to confirm your submission was received, as well as if it has been selected for publication on our blog.
We look forward to hearing from you – and reading all of your great blog posts!
