There are several big EMS shows each year that we really look forward to; EMS World Expo is one of those. Being held next week at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA, EMS World Expo 2012 is shaping up to be an exciting event.

Put on by the Cygnus Public Safety Group, EMS World Expo is the largest gathering of EMS professionals in North America. The event features an educational conference, exhibit floor and many networking opportunities. Braun Industries will be participating in the National EMS Awards presented at the show. We will also be in the exhibit hall at Booth #1631.

For over 27 years, Braun has been partnering with EMS World and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAMET) in the National EMS Awards of Excellence Program. Designed to recognize outstanding achievement in the EMS profession, Braun sponsors the NAEMT EMT of the Year Award. This award recognizes an emergency medical technician who demonstrates excellence in the performance of emergency medical services, with their primary role being that of prehospital patient care.  The winner of this year's award will be posted to our blog after the presentation during the October 30th NAEMT General Membership Meeting.

Representatives from Braun Industries will also be on hand October 31st - November 2nd at Booth #1631. Exhibit hall hours are Wednesday from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday from 11:00 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. There will be several models on display. We will be featuring a customer unit from Tulane University, which is a Braun Express. Our new Type III Signature Series ambulance will be there as well. Lastly, we will showcase a Chief XL EZ Door Forward model. All of these units are worth a stop by our booth. While you're there, ask our knowledgeable sales representatives any questions you may have about our emergency vehicles, our unique build process, or anything else you can think of! In attendance will be Kim Braun, President of Braun Industries, Chad Brown, VP of Sales & Marketing, and Regional Sales Manager, Penny Richardson.
