We will be showcasing 3 emergency vehicles on display in Booth #1833

This week, we're off to Las Vegas, Nevada for EMS World Expo 2017. The event started on Monday, but will run with October 20th; the exhibition hall opens on Wednesday. Hosted by EMS World magazine in partnership with NAEMT, the event is expected to attract more than 5,500 attendees and 360 exhibitors from over 44 countries. It is advertised as the largest EMS event in North America and will be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. We will be there in Booth #1833, with 3 ambulances on display.

EMS World Expo is a conference and exhibition event. Drawing on world-class faculty and industry thought-leaders, educational sessions will cover a wide range of techniques and trends in out-of-hospital care. There will be 175+ CEU-certified sessions across 8 topic tracks. In addition, hands-on learning opportunities include agency ride-alongs, trauma center tours, a cadaver lab, a simulation lab, and more. There will also be free education provided in the Exhibit Hall Learning Center.

Regional Sales Manager Jason Adair will be in attendance from Braun direct, along with Chad Brown, VP of Sales & Marketing. Several representatives from our national ambulance dealer network will be there as well. This includes Tracie Richards, Dennis Watters, and Jim Renner from Hughes Fire, Justin Jarvis from Pinnacle Emergency Vehicles, and Tim Hutchens from Lone Star Emergency Vehicles. We will all be in Booth #1833.

This show is especially exciting for us since we will be debuting MasterTech V Fleet Connect, a new electronic complement developed in collaboration with Weldon. This innovation will enable the first “smart” ambulance, sending and receiving information from the ambulance to home base. It will provide remote chassis and electrical diagnostics, allow for remote reprogramming, maintain a service of history issues, offer vehicle and asset tracking, suggest driver behavior modifications, listen for voice activation commands, and more. It will allow departments to keep a better eye on their fleet and maintain their vehicles more easily.

Aside from the MasterTech V Fleet Connect debut, we will have 3 ambulances on display. The first will be a Braun Chief XL from the University of Missouri. Built on a Ford 450 4x4, the module features a door forward design and 74” of headroom. The vehicle includes Liquid Spring suspension, Lumalier ultraviolet light, backboard storage at the rear of the module, Zoll AutoPulse storage, and no curbside compartment. To enhance the working area, there’s a custom work center that features an EVS Jumpseat with Mobility 1 Tracking System curbside.

The City of Kennewick is allowing us to display their new Chief XL model. Built on a Ford 450 4x4 with Liquid Spring suspension, this module includes a street side window – a unique feature not often seen. It also has an EZ 02 Lift, low profile rooftop AC, rear mounted shorelines, and SCBA storage.

We will also have a new Signatures Series demo ambulance on a Ford F-350 4x4. This unit will feature the MasterTech V Fleet Connect electronic component. It also includes an EZ 02 Lift.

To see any of these units on display, plan to visit us in Booth #1833 at EMS World Expo 2017. Exhibit Hall hours are Wednesday, October 18th from 11:00 am to 5:30 pm, Thursday October 19th from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday, October 20th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Those that cannot attend the conference in person should follow us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/BraunAmbulances/. We will be hosting Facebook Live sessions from the show floor, allowing anyone to get a peek inside our booth!
