The Holiday Season is a special time for us at Braun. Having been a family-owned and operated company for over 40 years, we want our employees and their families to know how much they are appreciated.  Christmas time is a great opportunity for us to show them we care. In addition, we make it a point to spread a little extra cheer by coming together to support other local charities and notable causes.

For the last ten years, Braun Industries has been a proud supporter of Toys for Tots and “Toss A Toy”. Toys for Tots is a program hosted by the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve during the months of October, November, and December. New and unwrapped toys are collected to distribute to less fortunate children in the area. “Toss A Toy” is a program through Van Wert County’s local YMCA, which works in combination with The Salvation Army. Like Toys for Tots, it is also a toy drive. Donations are distributed locally to children and families in need. Braun employees participate by bringing in toy donations that we help distribute to the campaigns.

The Braun “family” of employees also comes together each year to support local families in need through the Van Wert YWCA, personal referrals, or community angel trees. Contributions come in the form monetary gifts, tangible clothing and toy items, food, and more. It is heartwarming to see how these programs have grown and thrived over the years with the support and generous donations from our workforce. Braun Industries is proud to say we have some of the best employees out there!

To show our employees just how much we care for their support of these programs, and their hard work and commitment to the Braun brand, we like to give them a little something each holiday season as a “Thank You”. Since the early 1980s, the gifts have changed, but it’s always something. This year, we were pleased to give out turkeys. It’s a gift our employee’s entire family can enjoy.
