In honor of our 40th Anniversary, we recently hosted the "Why I Love My Braun" Photo Contest. Open January through July, we received a TON of great submissions! Entrants from around the country sent us pictures of their current, in-service Braun ambulances and told us why they loved them. We reviewed each and every entry in detail and were humbled by our customer's kind words. We truly believe it's a privilege to serve the fire and EMS industry and were so pleased to hear how our units make a difference.

While we had a lot of wonderful entries, we could only select one grand prize winner and two runners-up. Today, we are pleased to announce those winners and share the Grand Prize entry with you. The Grand Prize winner will receive a Motorola XOOM Android Tablet. Both runners-up will receive a Braun prize pack that includes a jacket, coffee mug, keychain and hat. These entries, along with other testimonials, are also currently featured on the homepage of our website.

The Winning Entry:

In 2010, it became apparent that Hickory Nut Gorge EMS & Rescue had no choice but to invest in a new ambulance. The process began on what brand of ambulance was needed for our department. Every dealer that came just didn't seem to have what we were looking for! Finally in early summer, our local Braun rep. brought by a demo of the Chief XL. It was perfect! After much deliberation, the order was placed in late summer... and in December 865 arrived. As you guys know, it is hard to please an entire department and Braun achieved just that. The pride we have in these trucks is overwhelming! Our 2011 Ford Chief XL 4x4 is perfect, and of course the envy of all other departments in the county. If fact, we loved it so much that in January of this year her twin (862) was delivered to us. These ambulances are the most exceptional, well-made trucks! We are proud to say we are part of the Braun family!
